Leadership Pipeline level II/III Transitioning from managing a team of individual
contributors to managing managers requires a new outlook and a new focus. Functional
and Department heads will be taking responsibility for other’s development. They
will have to work with peers from other functions and may well report to individuals
who do not have a deep understanding of their expertise. The course introduces participants
to what they need to know to succeed in management and deals with real and practical
issues. Participants will be able to identify their management style and its strengths
and weaknesses by completing HFI’s management style questionnaires prior to the
course.

- Developing an appropriate leadership style
- Motivating and developing your team
- Team dynamics
- Managing difficult people

Day 2
- Managing performance and conducting appraisals
- Delegating with authority
- Decision making, planning and problem solving
- Managing a virtual or remote team

During the two day programme, participants will learn the techniques and build the
skills that will allow them to:
- Transition from Leadership Pipeline Level I to Level II/III
- Improve their communication and delegation
- Develop and motivate others
- Develop long term business plans
- Work in multi-functional environments
- Manage areas outside their own area of experience
Individuals who are progressing from managing individual contributors to managing
managers, departments or functions.
