Assessment Skills Training for HR Professionals

BPS Certificate of Competence in

Occupational Testing

This comprehensive course provides participants with the skills, knowledge and appropriate qualifications to use psychometric tests in accordance with policy and fair practices laid down by the British Psychological Society.

The course is 5-days in duration comprising 2 days distance learning and a 3-day interactive workshop held in our Central London offices.  Our workshops have a maximum of 12 participants supported by two dedicated tutors who facilitate Q & A sessions, simulation exercises and course assessments. 

Participants will:

• be able to access psychometric tests designed for workplace selection and development

• learn to critically evaluate what makes a valid test and select relevant tests for a particular purpose

• gain qualifications that will allow them to administer online or paper and pencil psychometric assessments

• learn to interpret the results of ability tests and provide meaningful feedback
• be able to take control of testing procedures and use psychometric assessments as part of the selection process

Training takes place in a friendly, relaxed environment where individuals can continue their professional development with other HR practitioners and gain a recognised BPS qualification.

Cost for the Level A Training Course

• £950 per delegate including all materials.  The British Psychological Society’s Certificate in Occupational Testing will be included as part of the overall fee. 

For larger goups, we can also arrange to runLevel A training at your premises.  We also offer Level B training.  Please contact us for more details.
